Parvarish Kuchh Khatta Kuch Meethi is a show about the relationship of parents and their children. Parents support their kids through various stages of their life and care for them in just about every different scenario. Parvarish shows viewers different ways of how hard parents work to help their children and how important of a role they play in their kids life.
Two sisters, Sweety Ahluwalia and Pinky Ahuja, are in a friendly competition to become the best parent but through different practices. Both the sisters and their husbands cooperate to raise their children in different ways and help their children in the way they think is best.
The difference between the two’s approach of raising their kids is that Pinky thinks the best way to raise a child is by being a friend to them whereas Sweety thinks its important to be strict

Taanya is a beautiful, intelligent and multi-faceted computer science student in Mumbai. As she is about to pass out of college, her parents begin to talk about her marriage. That’s when she tells them that she likes a boy called Tej and wants to marry him.

Tej also loves her but is reluctant to accept the proposal because of a problem in his family. While he does not want to cheat her by keeping the truth from her, he is scared of losing her if he tells her about his family’s problem. His friends try to convince him that every family has some problem so he need not even mention it to Taanya

After ten years of marriage with three children, Pradeep Singh and Mona Singh have shared a lot over the years. They have three kids named Bulbul, who is nine, Rano, seven, and a five year old named Rajbir. They all live on their own in Mumbai after Pradeep left his father’s business and house so that he can live his life on his own with his wife and kids. Through out, Mona has supported him and helped him along the way. Without a doubt they can both agree that one of their biggest achievements along the way has been their three children and they have created a special bond between them as well. Prior to the children, Mona solely gave her attention to her husband but now she has to take care of three children who are constantly looking for attention

They are both pressurized by friends and family to get married but neither of them are able to find that someone that suits them. After getting to know each other somewhat, both of them realize that both of their siblings are in love with each other.
